Official Graecus Forum Rules
The word of the staff is law
We have staff on Graecus so that there is order and so everyone can enjoy themselves. If your behavior breaks a rule and a staff member talks to you about it, please do not talk back or argue with them. It will get you into more unwanted trouble, and none of us want that.
This is an English Only Forum
I, as the main administrator, can only understand English and a tiny bit of Swedish. I also am the one that watches everything on the forum so it goes smoothly. I cannot do so if you speak in a language I don't understand. If you wish to speak in your native language, do it via PM.
Regarding Hacking
Any attempts, whether successful or not, will lead in a permanent IP ban without warning.
No Mini-Modding
We have staff for a reason, so please do not take it into your hands. There is no harm in helping anyone that has a question; that is not mini-modding. Mini-modding is more along the lines of acting superior to a member that may or not be abusing the rules and acting as a staff member. Impersonating staff also falls under this. We can tell who and who is not staff by their username on their profile. If you see this, do not hesitate to tell one of the administrators.
No Attacking People
In other words, no bullying, name calling, or swearing at another member for any reason whatsoever. We don't want any drama here; its not fun and its unnecessary.
Swearing is allowed.
As said above, swearing at other members is not allowed. However, minor swearing is. As long as its not excessive, pointed at anyone, or any topic/opinion, then its fine.
Please do not Advertise
Though we do allow other Proboard roleplay sites to affiliate with us, we do not allow advertisements. Ads are annoying, especially if that's the only reason you're here. This is a roleplay forum, not an advertising forum. For more information on affiliates, PM Maxxist.
No Spamming
Spamming is where you talk in caps lock excessively, type the same or random messages in the chatbox, or double post. Caps lock is handy when pointing things out, yes, but that's why italic and bold font exists, no? Please use those appropriately as well.
Do not Steal from Anyone
This includes art, plot, anything. It's very easy to tell when members steal from other members, and its impossible for guests to steal such things, as some boards are locked for staff and members only. This is only to protect the content on this forum.
No harassment
This can go under the bullying rule but I'll address it anyway. If you feel someone is harassing you (asking you to send pictures of yourself, spamming you, etc.), contact a staff member. Do not scream to the world someone is "harassing" you, even if they are. This is to avoid further drama. Just contact staff quietly.
Do not post anything mature
By mature, I mean something sexual. Whether its text, pictures, etc, just don't do it. Blood and gore is fine (when roleplaying, mind you), but keep it to a degree.
Last but not least, you must be 13+ to sign up
Anyone who has seen proboards TOS knows that you must be 13 years or older to use it. We take this seriously, so do not lie about your age. Signing up when you're younger, is illegal. You will be removed if you are found to be younger than 13, thank you.

Official Graecus Roleplay Rules
There is unrealistic, then there's impossible
This is a unrealistic roleplay forum, but that doesn't mean we don't draw the line. For instance, if your character is stabbed dead in the head, there's no way it would survive. In the same way, a child shouldn't be stronger than a teen or an adult.
No OP characters
OP means overpowered. No one likes a character that can't be hurt, as it just takes the fun out of it. Characters can be strong, yes, but they shouldn't be invincible. This goes for all characters; immortals, demigods, and monsters alike.
Characters Should Have a Said Weakness
This could be mental or physical. A good example of mental is Percy Jackson; his weakness is loyalty. Or say you have a son of Poseidon. Since Poseidon is the god of the sea, the child's weakness could be fire. It doesn't matter how many weaknesses your character has as long as it has at least one.
No Killing Off Characters Without Permission
This may upset the character's creator if you kill their character out of nowhere. It can help propel a story, yes, but it wouldn't be fair to the member.
Roleplay Creators
If you're a creator of a roleplay here on Graecus, you should follow a few regulations...
-Stay active. This means logging on every few days (at least) and posting.
-Make sure you have read through the lore.
-Make sure your story has a definitive plot. Describe what the problem is or what the goal is. Each roleplay is looked at as a different timeline or different dimension, so they in no way need to connect with one another.
Staff members have to go through and say if a roleplay is good to go. This shouldn't take more than 24 hours. Please, do not spam the staff members to get on it if they don't do it immediately. If a few days has passed and you haven't gotten an answer, PM one that is active.
Official Staff Rules and Regulations
These are rules and regulations all staff members have to follow, so if you feel a staff member is breaking one, send a message to Maxxist.
Respect the Members
The members are people just like you, so don't go power mad. Maxxist does keep a close eye on staff just as much as members.
Make sure you're getting on whenever possible
If you can get on every day, do that. If in only every few days, then do that. If you don't log in for 2 weeks (meaning invisible must be turned off) then you will be demoted.
Make sure to check the threads that need staff approval
This includes Character Listing and Create & Wait (in roleplay).
Please, take the time to look through threads when possible
A member may need help and that's why we have staff. You don't need to look through everything, but try your best to give everyone a fair shot.
If you need to go on a temporary hiatus, please let Maxxist know.
This is to avoid getting demoted and I like to keep things on track. Having to take a break is no problem!
Finally, if a member reports something, make sure they give accurate information before acting.
Members should include screenshots on what they're reporting. If they don't have screenshots, let them know to include some.
If you would like to be staff and you're not sure if applications are open, PM Maxxist. You'll receive information on what to do after that if applications are open.
Finally done reading? What a champ! Thank you for making it this far, I'm sure going through this much text was a pain. As appreciation, I'll give you one karma point if you comment "done" below. Don't know what karma is? Read about it Here!
