So, by now you should know what Graecus is. This thread is to help you learn just a little bit more!
The most important bit first is to tell you what karma is (its mentioned in both the rules and the lore).
Karma in most forums is given by other members to each other and to gain reputation. That is not the case here. Karma is only given by staff members and its given depending on, well, your character's karma.
Say you have a son of Poseidon that starts eating fish. Fish worship the hero, because he is the son of Poseidon and Poseidon is god of the sea. You would lose a karma point for eating the fish.
But say the hero helped the fish in some way, maybe by fending off a hungry shark. Then you would gain a point.
You lose or gain a point each time your character does something with its element. So, if you have a character that completely hates its element, you may end up with negative points. That's okay! That just tells roleplay creators that you enjoy having character(s) that abuse their element. That is not a bad thing, so don't worry!
The next thing to bring your attention to is if you go to profile > edit profile > personal, you'll find something at the bottom called "User Acronym". This is a shortening of your user or display name that you must fill out for your character to get accepted and listed.
The reason for this is members may use the same name for their characters and we need a way to tell them from one another. Your User Acronym can only be 4 digits. It should be unique so there isn't any confusion.
